I’ve always wanted to test-drive a sexy convertible minus the madly expensive price tag and thankfully, the Peugeot delivered it all!
Style
It does have a 'wow' to-look-at factor, but not in an indulgent sense. It's the kind of car people look at and think, 'Yes, that’s a great-looking car'.
Drive
It handled beautifully, although reverse parking was hard at times as it was hard to get the perspective of the length of the boot.
Interior
It's smooth, not too over-the-top or show-offy!
Safety
The Peugeot felt so solid, which gave me real confidence driving it.
3 words to describe this car:
Sexy, grown-up, sleek.
Who is this car best suited to and why?
It's a perfect girl-about-town car and, in my case, heaven for a single mum (with a school-aged kid, not a toddler!). It’s also great for women who like to have their finger on the pulse of the city!
What are the best things about this car?
The total ease of putting the convertible roof up and down made it one of the best (and affordable) ways to move into convertible car land.
What are the downsides of this car?
The doors are incredibly heavy but the upshot of that is the opening and closing of them gives you a great arm workout.
What kind of petrol did this car use?
Diesel
Liked it?
I really, really loved it and would buy one in a flash…
If personified, who would this car be?
Cate Blanchet: Sleek, solid and elegant.
Soundtrack of choice?
John Mayer.
