A European road safety organisation called OVK (Parents of Children Killed in Road Accidents) recently launched an application for your Apple iPhone that is designed to prompt you that you might be driving carelessly. The application uses GPS to determine your speed (and the speed limit for the road you are driving on) and begins to work when the driver exceeds the speed limit. What actually happens is that the volume of the music being played in your car (via your iPhone) is dramatically reduced. When you exceed the limit by 10 km p/h it stops altogether until you are back under the speed limit. A great idea I would say and idea for our responsible MyCarBudget customers.
