Oh Mr Sheen

24 March 2011

Charlie Sheen certainly appears to have a death-wish and his latest real-life scandals involving cars, drugs, sex and booze could also be the final nail in the coffin for the Two and a Half Men sitcom.

No stranger to erratic behaviour, Charlie has been driving family and friends crazy with worry after being hospitalised twice in as many months after excessive drug and alcohol abuse; all but halting production of his hugely successful television show.

Producers have finally had enough issuing the following statement: "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of 'Two and a Half Men' for the remainder of the season".

Charlie Sheen hurried to reply, saying in an open letter to TMZ.com: "What does this say about Haim Levine after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me. I gracefully ignored this folly for 177 shows ... I fire back once and this contaminated little mxxxxt can't handle my power and can't handle the truth," he continued.

"I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon."

Yet it’s his recent automotive purchases that have brought Charlie to our attention with the actor splashing out on a number of luxury vehicles to the tune of $800,000 – a Bentley reportedly costing $320,000 and a Porsche Turbo estimated to be worth $150,000 were gifted to 2 adult film stars he barely knew.

His automotive charity also extended to his family, with Charlie ordering a $160,000 Mercedes-Benz S64 for Natalie Kenly, his new girlfriend, as well as a $160,000 Mercedes-Benz CL 600 for his soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

The good news is Charlie can afford to splurge on more than a few prestige cars. According to TV Guide magazine, Sheen is currently the highest-paid among television actors starring in comedies, earning $2 million per episode. Perhaps his money could be better spent elsewhere?
