Throughout our website we mention the fact that MyCarBudget offers all of it's customers complimentary Roadside Assistance when they sign up to MyCarBudget. Below is a short Q & A on what is actually on offer.
Why are you offering free Roadside Assistance?
The aim of the MyCarBudget program is to offer our customers Control. Savings. Confidence. So when we looked at the various services we could make available to customers, Roadside Assistance was an obvious one. The reason why it is free is because we felt that everyone needed it and should have it.
Will you charge me each time I use it?
The service is free, however charges may be applicable should you require new parts, to be towed, for another service provider to be called out eg Locksmith.
Who provides the service?
FleetPartners manages and services over 40,000 vehicles in Australia and New Zealand. Most of these vehicles are provided with Roadside Assistance. Given this volume of cars, we have been able to outsource this service to one of Australia's largest providers of roadside care (Assist Australia). You are in good hands.
What can I call them out for?
You can use your complimentary Roadside Assistance service when your car:
- breaks down and won't start
- runs out of petrol
- has a flat battery
- smashed windscreen
- flat or punctured tyre
- keys are locked in the car
- needs to be towed away
How many call outs can I make in a year?
There is no limit to the number of call outs you can make in a year (subject to the MyCarBudget terms and conditions of use).
