She may be crazy in love, yet with gestures such as these; it sure makes one wonder if she’s just plain crazy?
We’re talking the gorgeous Beyonce buying her other half, rapper Jay-Z, a brand new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his recent 41st birthday on December 4th to the tune of a cool $2 million. And she paid in cash (as you do when you’re the highest-earning couple in show business last year, earning $108 million between them).
Seems Jay-Z is a mega-car buff, already with an impressive collection in his garage including a Maybach 62S, a Ferrari F430 Spider and a Pagani Zonda Roadster. He is also currently an ambassador for GMC in the USA.
A source close to the couple said “Jay-Z has one of the most enviable collections of bling cars in the world, but even for him the Bugatti is special.
“Obviously the money isn’t a factor for Beyonce, but he will be touched that out of everything she could have bought him, she chose something he’ll treasure for years.”
With a top-speed of 255 miles-per-hour and acceleration from zero to 60 in 2.5 seconds,
it makes sense the Veyron is the ultimate in celebrity-hip right now with other A-listers investing in the vehicle including Simon Cowell and Tom Cruise.
And if this car happens to also tickles your fancy, you certainly have a good cooling off period in your favour; Beyonce ordered it well over a year ago.
