Registration Renewal

For most people, your car registration and insurance costs are the biggest expenses you are faced with as a car owner. What makes it difficult for most is that these bills usually arrive one after the other (or even at the same time). Finding approximately $1500 as well as all money for all your other bills can make a significant dent in anyone's savings.

MyCarBudget can help you overcome this problem by making the payment on your behalf so that you can then spread the cost out over the year.

If you have nominated to include your registration renewal within your MyCarBudget, simply provide us with a copy of your renewal notice by fax or email 14 days prior to its renewal date and we will use your budget to make payment directly to the relevant authority. Where your vehicle requires a statutory inspection, you will need to arrange this prior to asking us to pay for your renewal.

Renewed registration labels will be issued to you directly by the relevant authority. If your vehicle is registered in Victoria, you will be participating in the Electronic Fleet Registration Scheme (EFRS), and receive an EFRS label (as a replacement for your registration sticker) which is to be affixed to the windscreen of your vehicle for the life of your MyCarBudget package. This means no more having to change labels.

To calculate how much you need to include within your budget to cover your next registration renewal, simply use our online calculator.

Note: For customers living in NSW, in order to include Registration Renewal into your MyCarBudget package, your CTP must be purchased directly from MyCarBudget. For quick quote, please contact us on 1300 710 629.
